The View from This Morning

 

I did a ‘cake walk’ with a couple of friends today.

It’s walking around the lake Burley Griffin, around 5K or so, followed by (a bowl of) coffee and cake in Bookplate Cafe at the National Library, thus the name cake walk.

The views captured were of the lake (d’oh!), Black Mountain Tower (just a speck in the pic), the National Carillon (http://www.carillon.org.au/), and some gigantic paintings inside the lobby of National Library.
