About Me

Hi, my name is Ayu. This is the place where I share my passion of photography with you. This is where I share what I see around me through my lens. I am a mother of two and currently living in Canberra, Australia. I am a photographer who loves to travel, and love to treasure sweet memories of life in series of snapshots. I love to capture people’s connections, feelings, stories, and thousands and more moments around them. Oh, I also have a 10 year old chocolate Labrador, Bruno, who I adore (and spoil probably too much), so you may see tons of pictures of him too 😉

The completion of my project 365 in 2012 has taught me to always be grateful of what I have and to appreciate things -a lot of little things- that we tend to overlook. I learned to keep my eyes wide open to see different things, to experience new colors, and new experience.  Beauty is all around us and I believe that creativity is limitless when you keep your mind wide open. Hope you follow me this year on my new 52 Portrait Project.

As in most things, learning in photography is a never-ending process. Maybe this is why I find it so exciting. I am about to leap forward to a new territory of going pro. Stay with me while I’m gathering my courage to push forward, and to finally jump. There is still much work…and fun to be had.
