Last sunset. 31 Dec 2012, Bradleys Point, NSW Happy New Year 2013! Wishing you a happy and prosperous new year filled with fun, love and laughter. I’ll take a month off blogging and will be back on your computer screen in February, (hopefully) with a new photography project. Live long and prosper…
Day 365 of the my Project 365. Surely this is the last day of the project? Or is it? Project 365 runs for a year, which traditionally starts on 1st January to end on the 31st of December, as the 365th day. However, this year is a leap year. There are 366 days in a year. So I think we will have 365 days of photos and a BONUS day tomorrow! Yay! I didn’t expect to be this psyched on […]
A yummy Boxing day lunch at friends’ house today was what we had to ‘face’ upon waking up from a food coma, from another Christmas celebration yesterday. So blessed with friends who are good cooks, all I can do is be grateful and enjoy the food.
Nikon D90 | AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED | ISO320 | f/4 | 2.0s Before food, presents, alcohol and general festivity celebrations get in the way, I’d like to use this post to wish you all a lovely Christmas 2012! Give extra long hugs your loved ones , and be grateful of the abundant love you have around you this year. To my loyal readers (especially!), thank you for all your support throughout the year. I honestly didn’t think […]
Summer holiday is officially started. Today was Mr 8’s last day of school. Also, it was his last day in this school. He is going to a new school starting next year. So yeah, it was kind of big deal. A lot of chanting, screaming, banging and clapping. […]

Some of people from the local community, the students of schools involved in the project, even the ACT Chief Minister were there. The gathering was to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the big and horrible bush fire of 2003 in Canberra. The trees and the close surrounding area were, as promised and intended, ‘bombed’with yarns. It’s quite an […]

It may be late, but it’s still 12/12/12 now. It won’t be soon so I’d better write this post super quick. No doomsday insight, instead I was out celebrating the end of year 2012 with some great friends before we go our separate merry ways for the holidays.
Nikon D90 | AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G | ISO500 | f/2 | 1/15 | Despite the intention, our tree is still not up yet. I’m still busy prepping, selecting ornaments, thinking, or making new ornaments, as I always do every year. I probably enjoy this part more than the actual tree decorating. This drives my kids crazy, of course, because all they want to do is to decorate our Christmas tree, especially after looking at all these colourful and sparkly things […]
