Portraits of family in the ‘wild’. This was our first camping since last summer (January 2014), so it’s been awhile; and it seemed that everyone was missing it. The time spent outdoor was enjoyed to the max. Dog especially loved to bask in the morning light.

Today was the last day of school holiday in Canberra. It’s a typical Sunday in the suburb. We drove around a nearby suburb looking for a fast food restaurant for a quick take-away. Too tired to cook, and couldn’t be bothered with more nutritious choice. Good thing I bothered to look up to see this sunset sky, otherwise we will suffer another book cover pattern shot.

How lovely it was to be back home and found that most of the green trees have changed colours. Someone told me that the reason most of the trees in Canberra are changing colours in autumn is because they are not native Australian trees. Ranges of planes big and small, old and new, were parked at the airport runway and open for public to see this Sunday morning. The event was Canberra Airport Open Day. We were allowed to go up in most of these planes, but the lines were soooo long we ended up just walking around the runway.
