After one full month taking photos everyday I came to a realization that I really love patterns, and I love things sitting in a row and things that are stacked symmetrically. I was always drawn to them and always enjoyed taking photos of them. Today is the last day of the first month of the year. And I’ve just learned something new about myself. Let’s see what the next month brings. Bring it, February!
Just a quick shot of the heavy rain from my deck for today’s post. I was caught in it on my way back with three kids (two are mine) from the local shop earlier tonight. Lesson learnt: it’s impossible for one to walk faster when one was caught in the rain with 3 kids, and armed with only two umbrellas (one kid was wearing a rain jacket), when each kid was holding an ice cream in one hand.
Some days I thought, I got this; meaning I took a picture for that day and mentally blocked a time to upload it to my blog. Most days it worked like that, but other days I just took the picture and totally immersed in the craziness of the day that I almost forgot to upload. It’s the middle of summer in Canberra, and it’s been windy and cold since morning. Someone even said that the temperature will drop to 6 degrees tonight. Yes, this summer night. It’s the coldest January in 6 years. Oh, did I mention the cold rain?
