Day 58 #Project365

February 27, 2012 by [ayu]

It’s two more days before summer is officially over. I say, let’s kill it already. Summer has been having a bit of a problem performing, really. Yes we had a couple of days of brilliance, but the rest was a total disappointment. We even had a maximum temperature of 6 degrees I recalled. Let’s just all get over it and give a warm welcome to autumn. It’s been wet the whole day, I think autumn has arrived!

Day 32 #Project365

February 1, 2012 by [ayu]

Looked like my little pool was really sad. This was the first summer it was left alone, and left to be the depository of dead unfortunate bugs and dried leaves. When it was hot it was never hot enough that by the time the pool was almost clean the rain came again or the temperature was just too cool for anyone to swim. We have one month left until summer ends, I just hope we have more hot days so […]

Day 30 #Project365

January 30, 2012 by [ayu]

We will face a wet week ahead. From now until Sunday it will be showers (in various degree of intensity) in Canberra. This week is the last week of school holiday. The kids will be back at school next Monday whether they are ready or not. Hopefully the wet weather can help me adjusting the kids ‘body clock’ from the holiday mode to the school mode. No more late night sleeping, no more sleeping in. Yeah. Fun week ahead! Brace […]

Day 20 #Project365

January 20, 2012 by [ayu]

Just a quick shot of the heavy rain from my deck for today’s post. I was caught in it on my way back with three kids (two are mine) from the local shop earlier tonight. Lesson learnt: it’s impossible for one to walk faster when one was caught in the rain with 3 kids, and armed with only two umbrellas (one kid was wearing a rain jacket), when each kid was holding an ice cream in one hand.

Day 11 #Project365

January 11, 2012 by [ayu]

It’s the middle of summer in Canberra, and it’s been windy and cold since morning. Someone even said that the temperature will drop to 6 degrees tonight. Yes, this summer night. It’s the coldest January in 6 years. Oh, did I mention the cold rain?
