The morning was thick in mist. The air was filled with tiny invisible drops. I love this kind of morning. Unlike the rain where you always have to wait until it’s stop completely to walk around and take photos, you can just walk right out in the mist, enjoy the world in a more subdued setting and maintain relatively dry. This was the view that greeted me as I opened the door leading to the deck at the back of the house. Eerie looking view thanks to the fog. Usually we could only see white everywhere, but this time it seemed that the sun wouldn’t be beaten without a fight as I could see it shone through the mist. It was 1 degree Celsius.

After a month of craziness, I was back on the lake ready for my morning run around the lake with Bruno, my dog. The mist was extremely thick, the temperature only reached 1 degree when we got there.
