Images tell stories. One photo one day, more on another day. Moments captured in colours when things seen are forever kept. Here is where I share my photos and things…

Day 330 #Project365

November 25, 2012 by [ayu]

My son’s Lego table looked great for a couple of days after that big clean in August.  From then to now, more than 3 months long, the table was totally covered by Lego pieces that you couldn’t even see the surface anymore. Today I couldn’t take it anymore. I could see some dust peeking through some of the pieces, so I just threw them all into the ‘half-way’ box (to be sorted out later), and separated all the ready-made pieces, […]

Day 319 #Project365

November 14, 2012 by [ayu]

Nikon D90 | AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED | ISO800 | f/5.6 | 1/40 | When fellow 365 project doers who live in the northern hemisphere started to complain on the fact that their days are getting shorter, I am rejoicing the opposite here living down under. The day light is getting longer, and the days are even longer still as summer is yet to arrive. My kids were enjoying that short time post-dinner before they had to get […]

Day 278 #Project365

October 4, 2012 by [ayu]

This is today’s crime scene. The pink scissor was a dead give-away who the culprit was. Off to get a full confession now. Nikon D90 | AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED | ISO500 | f/9 | 1/25 |

Day 242 #Project365

August 29, 2012 by [ayu]

Served me right to ambush Ms.4 and Teddy in the hallway and ‘attack’ them with my camera. Well, at least Teddy was cooperative…

Day 228 #Project365

August 15, 2012 by [ayu]

Completed bodies went to one teeny tiny compartment, those without heads went to the other, those legs without bodies went to one, and heads only went to another. Who knew there were too many battle droids that we needed two compartments instead of just one, and another one for weapons only. Every brick had been assorted and categorised, and everything was in their ‘assigned’ box (13 boxes in total, 3 of them with small compartments). Exhale. Even though this is […]

Day 57 #Project365

February 26, 2012 by [ayu]

Culling toys. And children books. That’s the order for the day. It’s more of a necessity than the order of the day really. With birthdays came new toys and books and stuff that you can just ignore (or pretend that the number of things in your child’s room stayed the same) for maximum two years until your child’s room looked more like a tornado has landed in it and you could hardly see the furnitures anymore. The plan was simple. […]
